Dr. Ines Kevric O’Shaughnessy is a native of former Yugoslavia and moved to Kentucky at the age of 12. She obtained her Bachelor of Science degree at Centre College graduating Magna cum Laude, and her medical degree at the University of Kentucky College of Medicine, where she graduated with high distinction. Dr. O’Shaughnessy completed her Internship and Dermatology residency at Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, serving as Chief Resident in her final year. She is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and a diplomate of the American Board of Dermatology.
Dr. O’Shaughnessy practices general, pediatric, surgical and cosmetic dermatology. Dr. O’Shaughnessy speaks Serbo-Croatian. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, being outdoors and running.

Eric Poetter, DNP, APRN, FNP-C was born in Gainesville and raised in Ocala, FL. Eric earned a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Central Florida before earning a Master of Science degree in Psychology from Nova Southeastern University. Deciding his passion was in the medical field, Eric attended the University of Florida’s accelerated nursing program, earning a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and working in the Medical Intensive Care Unit at Shands UF Health hospital for nearly four years. His time at Shands UF Health hospital inspired him to return to school to become a nurse practitioner. Eric ultimately graduated from the University of South Florida, earning a Doctor of Nursing Practice degree with a focus on Family health.
As an Ocala native, Eric spent much of his early years on lakes, at local beaches, and golfing outdoors, and is passionate about sun protection, cancer awareness, and early detection of skin cancers.
Eric spends his free time with his fiancé, a fellow nurse practitioner, and is planning a wedding in 2020. He is an avid golfer when he has free time.

Oliver Reed, M.D. has led an impressive career as a Dermatologist in his 38 years working in the medical industry. He was a past president of the Florida Society of Dermatologic Surgeons, he is currently on the American Association of Dermatology Advisory Board, a delegate to the Florida Medical Association recently commissioned a Kentucky Colonel, and currently a volunteer at the USF Department of Dermatology.
Dr. Reed has been featured in the Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology. Prior to joining Suncoast Skin Solutions, Dr. Reed founded Hernando Skin & Cancer Center, the 1st dermatologic practice solely in Hernando County. Dr. Reed is a Veteran and served in the US Army as a Dermatologist. Dr Reeds’ interests include sports, cars, watches, and traveling.

Dr. Danielle Reimer grew up in Upstate New York prior to moving to Jacksonville where she earned her bachelor’s degree in biology from the University of North Florida and graduated summa cum laude. She earned her medical degree from the University of Central Florida in Orlando, Florida. Dr. Reimer returned to Jacksonville to complete her internship in Internal medicine and residency in Dermatology at Mayo Clinic, where she served as chief resident in her final year.
Dr. Reimer practices medical, cosmetic and surgical dermatology. She specializes in skin cancer detection and prevention, skin conditions including psoriasis, eczema, acne, rosacea and cosmetic procedures such as neuromodulators and fillers.
Susan S. Roper, M.D. is a Board-Certified Dermatologist, certified by the prestigious American Board of Dermatology. She attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where she was Phi Beta Kappa, and received her undergraduate degree from Stetson University in Deland, Florida. She earned her medical degree from Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia, and served her internship in Internal Medicine at Emory University also. She completed her residency training in Dermatology at Emory University, serving as Chief Resident of the Department of Dermatology. She also completed a research fellowship year in Dermatology at Emory University, after receiving the prestigious Dermatology Foundation Research Award sponsored by Revlon.
Dr. Roper, who is a Diplomate of the American Board of Dermatology, holds membership in a number of professional organizations, including the American Academy of Dermatology, the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery, the American Society of Dermatologic Surgery, the Florida Society of Dermatology, and the Florida Society of Dermatologic Surgeons, of which she is Past-President, a board member, and Surgeon of the Year for 2006.
Dr. Roper has graciously donated her time as a volunteer Associate Clinical Professor of Medicine and Dermatology at the University of South Florida School of Medicine in Tampa, Florida and the James Haley VA Hospital Dermatology Clinic for over 20 years, retiring in 2009 from her volunteer duties with the University and the VA Hospital. Dr. Roper is affiliated with Morton Plant/Mease Hospitals for over 20 years, and has been in private practice at Countryside Dermatology and Laser Center in Clearwater, Florida for 25 years.

Dr. Nirav Shah, MD, is a board-certified dermatologist dedicated to providing comprehensive, patient-focused care. A Florida native, he graduated from Palm Beach Gardens High School before earning his undergraduate degree with honors from the University of Florida. He went on to receive his medical degree from the University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine, where he finished at the top of his class and was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. He later completed his dermatology residency at the University of South Florida, contributing to peer-reviewed publications and presenting at national conferences on topics such as complex skin disease, cutaneous oncology, and immune-related side effects of cancer therapy.
His care philosophy is rooted in communication, trust, and evidence-based medicine. He understands that skin health has a profound impact on overall well-being and works with patients to create clear, practical treatment plans. His goal is for every patient to leave each visit feeling informed, supported, and confident in the care they receive.
In his free time, Dr. Shah enjoys traveling, playing pickleball and golf, and cheering on the Gators. He and his wife, who met at the University of Florida, share a love of food, new experiences, and adventures together.
Aaron Alexander Sookhoo, PA-C a Tampa Bay native, is a board-certified Physician Assistant. Aaron received his Bachelor of Science Degree with a focus on Biomedical Sciences and a minor in Public Health from the University of South Florida in May 2012. Aaron then attended Wake Forest University School of Medicine’s Physician Assistant Program and graduated with a Masters of Medical Science degree in May 2015. After graduating from Wake Forest University, Aaron obtained extensive clinical and surgical experience in general orthopedic surgery and orthopedic spine surgery in the Tampa area. Aaron has completed a Dermatological and Cosmetic Surgery externship with a Mohs Surgeon and Dermatopathologist in Winston-Salem, NC. He is Board Certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA). He is a member of the Florida Academy of Physician Assistants (FAPA) and the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA). While at Wake Forest University, Aaron was a member of the Katherine Anderson Society of the Student Academy of the American Academy of Physician Assistants (SAAAPA).

Cynthia Spencer, APRN, FNP-C, DCNP, is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner and Dermatology Certified Nurse Practitioner with a deep-rooted passion for skin health and patient care. A Florida native, Cynthia began her nursing career in 1997, gaining extensive experience across pediatric care, women’s health, and medical-surgical nursing.
In 2015, she earned her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of South Florida, becoming a Family Nurse Practitioner. Since then, she has dedicated her practice to dermatology. In 2022, she earned her Dermatology Nurse Practitioner certification, solidifying her expertise in diagnosing and managing a wide range of skin conditions.
Cynthia is known for her compassionate, patient-centered approach and her commitment to providing high-quality dermatologic care to individuals and families in her home state of Florida.
With over 13 years of dedicated experience in medical dermatology, Patricia Spitzer is a board-certified Physician Assistant specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of all skin, hair, and nail conditions, with a particular focus on the early detection and management of skin cancer. Her compassionate, patient-centered approach is rooted in both clinical expertise and a strong family tradition in dermatologic care—her father and sister are also experienced dermatology PAs.
Patricia Spitzer earned her Bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Central Florida and went on to complete her Master’s degree in physician assistant studies at Nova Southeastern University. Throughout her career, she has remained committed to education and mentorship, actively supporting the next generation of physician assistants by serving as a clinical proctor for local PA programs.
Outside the office, Patricia enjoys a full and vibrant life as a proud mother of three. She is an avid reader and passionate sports enthusiast—especially when cheering on her beloved Tampa Bay Buccaneers. She also loves to travel whenever her schedule allows.

Eric F. Stakebake, DMSc, MPAS, PA-C, Diplomate Fellow SDPA
Eric graduated from Weber State University with a double major Bachelor’s degree in Zoology and Spanish (still speaking Spanish on a daily basis, one can hear the distinctive accent he picked up from living in Spain for two years).
Eric attended the University of Utah as a Biology Ph.D. candidate before PA school, and while doing research and studies in biology, he did student teaching for courses including comparative vertebrate morphology and comparative physiology and simultaneously taught undergraduate human anatomy and human biology courses at WSU as adjunct faculty. It was there that he decided he wanted to go into the field of Medicine.
Eric graduated from Chatham University with a Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies (MPAS). A life-long advocate for learning, Eric continued to pursue his educational dreams and earned a rare (fewer than 3% of PAs) Doctorate of Medical Science (DMSc) degree, in the “advanced professional practice of dermatology” track. He also earned additional graduate certificates in healthcare administration and management and executive leadership.
Eric has earned numerous awards, scholarships, and recognition for his work and academic achievements as an undergraduate and graduate student, including a Dean’s Scholarship, the “Outstanding Achievement” award from his PA program, a prestigious membership in The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi, various research awards, and also earned the esteemed title of Diplomate Fellow of the Society of Dermatology Physician Associates (SDPA), an educational achievement considered to be the “premier training program” for dermatology PAs.
Before becoming a dermatology PA, Eric worked for four years as a surgical assistant in OB/GYN, and more than eight years in general clinical neurology and pain medicine.
Eric loves working in the field of dermatology. He genuinely cares about people and is both competent and kind. He strives to make patients feel welcome and comfortable. He is proud to be a member of, and advocate for, the American Academy of Physician Associates (AAPA), the Florida Academy of PAs (FAPA), the Society of Dermatology Physician Associates (SDPA), and the Florida Society of Dermatology PAs (FSDPA).

Keely Staten, MPAS, PA-C, is a board-certified Physician Assistant and SDPA Diplomate Fellow.
She was born in Houston, TX and raised in Crossville, TN. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology from the University of Tennessee where she graduated cum laude. She then worked as a microbiologist for the FDA. During this time, she earned her EMT certification and realized patient care was her true calling. She graduated from LSU Health with a masters in PA studies and developed a passion for dermatology during her clinical rotation with the VA.
Keely is board certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and is a member of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants. She is passionate about prevention, detection, and treatment of skin cancer.
In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her kids.

Melanie Stefanchik, PA-C was born and raised in Millstone, New Jersey. She relocated with her family to South Carolina during high school. Shortly thereafter, she attended Clemson University and received a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences. Then, she attended the University of South Carolina School of Medicine where she got a degree in Physician Assistant Studies.
She has been practicing Emergency Medicine since graduating from the University of South Carolina. It was in the Emergency Department where she found her passion for dermatology. She hopes to continue making strong patient connections while providing quality care. She is excited about what the future holds for her in dermatology.
She enjoys all things outdoors, sunshine, and spending time on the water. Most of all, she loves her family and her little dog “Coconut”!
Josh is a board-certified physician assistant and SDPA diplomats fellow.
He was born in Sioux City, IA but was raised in Bradenton, FL where he attended Manatee High School. He then completed his undergraduate degree in Exercise Physiology at Florida State University in Tallahassee, FL. Upon earning his bachelor’s degree, he worked as a medical assistant at a private dermatology practice in Tallahassee before continuing his education at The University of Florida School of Physician Assistant Studies. It was there he served as the Vice President of his PA class. Josh completed his clinical rotations in Tampa Bay and has returned to the area to practice. He is a current member of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants, Florida Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants, and the American Academy of Physician Assistants.
In his free time, Josh enjoys reading, watching movies, and traveling. He also is passionate about spending time with his family, friends, and three cats.

Amy Strohmaier, PA-C graduated from the physician assistant program at Nova Southeastern University in 2008 with her Masters of Science degree. Since then she has worked primarily in dermatology and has found her passion in treating diseases of the skin. She serves pediatric, adult and geriatric patients. Amy is able to diagnose and treat most rashes and is also skilled at surgical excisions of benign and malignant lesions.

Dr. Andrew Styperek is a fellowship trained, board-certified dermatologist. He attended Harvard University in Boston, MA, where he completed undergraduate studies and earned his B.A. degree. He then went on to medical training at Atlanta’s renowned Emory University School of Medicine. His residency training was completed here in Florida, at University of Miami School Medicine. From 2013 through 2014, he was the Chief Resident. After completing residency training, Dr. Andrew underwent advanced training at Houston Methodist Hospital under the instruction of Dr. Leonard Goldberg. He completed an extensive fellowship program including Mohs micrographic surgery, as well as laser and cosmetic surgeries.
Dr. Andrew is committed to furthering his own education, and the knowledge of the medical community. He regularly participates in continuing education, as well as conducting in-depth clinical research. He is a sought-after speaker who has lectured around the world. Additionally, he has been published in many peer-reviewed medical journals.
A dedicated doctor, he is passionate about excellence in patient care. Areas of special interest and expertise include skin cancer diagnosis and treatment, cosmetic and anti-aging treatments, and venous disease management.

Elleanor S. Swartz is a licensed and certified Physician Assistant (P.A.-C.) accredited by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA). She joined First Coast Dermatology Associates in February 2017, after 9 years of working in a dermatology private practice in Bradenton, Florida. A Physician Assistant is a state licensed practitioner whose education process parallels that of traditional medical school, but is a shorter program and does not require internship or residency. To remain certified, Physician Assistants must complete 100 hours of continuing medical education every 2 years and pass a national recertification exam every 6 years.
As a dermatology Physician Assistant, Elleanor diagnoses and treats a wide variety of conditions ranging from acne and psoriasis to skin cancers, including melanoma. She regularly writes prescriptions, performs biopsies and surgical excisions.
Elleanor is a member of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants (SDPA), the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA), and the Florida Academy of Physician Assistants (FAPA).
Growing up in Jacksonville, Elleanor attended Stanton College Preparatory High School. Ellen Toneff, PA-C was born and raised in the Tampa Bay area. She has a passion for educating both her patients and her peers in Dermatology. She is the Lead Provider Trainer and Clinical Curriculum Coordinator for new PAs and APRNs joining Suncoast. Ellen holds the prestigious title of Diplomate Fellow after completing an additional 2-year Dermatology Fellowship Program through the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants.
She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of Florida where she graduated summa cum laude. She again attended the University of Florida at their School of Physician Assistant Studies. There, Ellen graduated with a 4.0 GPA, was inducted into the Pi Alpha (PA) national honors society and was awarded with “Outstanding Academic Student” as well as “The Award of Academic and Clinical Excellence in Physician Assistant Studies.” She is a proud member of the Florida Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants (FSDPA) and the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants (SDPA).
Ellen is passionate about creating a strong bond between herself and her patients. Colleen Ursic, PA-C was born and raised in Lusby, Maryland, a small town in Southern Maryland that according to Colleen no one has ever heard of. Colleen obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in Human Nutrition from, Food and Exercise Science and her Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry from Virginia Polytechnic. Upon graduation, Colleen relocated to Florida to attend the University of Florida where she obtained her Master of Science in Physician Assistant studies. Colleen always knew dermatology was her field of interest and worked as a Tech/Medical assistant for a Mohs surgeon while attending Virginia Tech. Colleen is a current member of the Florida Academy of Physician Assistants and American Academy of Physician Assistants.
Colleen loves anything related to water and grew up on a river so fishing, crabbing, wakeboarding, waterskiing, paddleboarding tops her list of how she spends her free time. She does want everyone to know that she always wears her sunscreen and hat. Colleen also enjoys participating in 5k running events because she feels it’s a great way to support a good cause and get a work out in as well. Colleen is looking forward to enticing her family to move south and join here in Florida. One of Colleen’s personal goals is to visit every single state at least once by the time she is 32. We all know that as friendly as Colleen is, she will surely make new friends in every place she visits.

William A. Welton III, M.D., is a board-certified dermatologist born in Beaufort, South Carolina. He earned a B.S. in Pharmacy from West Virginia University (1980), an M.S. in Pharmaceutical Administration from The Ohio State University (1985), and his M.D. from Marshall University (1991). Dr. Welton completed a Family Medicine internship at Marshall University Hospital (1991) and a Dermatology residency at West Virginia University (1992–1995). He is licensed in West Virginia and Florida, certified by the American Board of Dermatology, and a diplomate of the National Board of Medical Examiners. Jared Wishik, M.D. specializes in treating a variety of skin conditions. Whether you have a concerning spot, are frustrated with your acne, noticed a changing mole, developed a new rash, are suffering from a complex skin disease, are in need of skin cancer screening, or have any other concerns with your skin, Dr. Wishik has the training, expertise, and compassion to treat your condition. Dr. Wishik is a Tampa native and loves to take care of patients in his hometown. After attending Berkeley Preparatory School, he completed his undergraduate studies at Emory University before working for the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in Atlanta as a research coordinator for the Epidemiology and Prevention Branch of the Influenza Division. Returning to his home state, he went on to earn his medical degree from the University of Florida. He then completed a rigorous internal medicine internship at University of Illinois at Chicago, followed by completion of his dermatology residency at the prestigious University of Chicago where he trained with some of the most renowned academic dermatologists in the country and was honored to be named Chief Resident.
Dr. Wishik’s first passion in life was basketball. He played in high school and still plays weekly if time allows. He loves traveling (pre-pandemic, of course), cooking, sports (Go Bucs, Gators, and Magic!), film, and spending as much time with family and close friends as possible. He is passionate about always learning more (through podcasts, books, articles)—about others, about himself, and about the world around him.

She has extensive experience treating a wide variety of dermatologic conditions, including skin cancer, acne, rosacea, eczema, psoriasis, and warts. She is also highly skilled in many dermatologic procedures, including cryosurgery, biopsies, and excisions.
Jennifer demonstrates a strong commitment to patient care and takes pride in truly listening to each and every one of her patients. She stays up to date on the most innovative treatments and technologies available and is dedicated to formulating a patient care plan with a strong emphasis on education and awareness.
Jennifer is a member of the following prestigious organizations: Florida Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants, Florida Association of Physician Assistants, and Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants.
In her spare time, she enjoys horseback riding and spending time with her family.

Su Xu, M.D., Ph.D. is board certified in dermatopathology as well as in anatomic and clinical pathology. Dr. Xu completed her training in anatomic and clinical pathology at St. Luke’s-Roosevelt Hospital Center, affiliated with Columbia University, and subsequently the fellowship in dermatopathology at Ackerman Academy of Dermatopathology in New York city. Dr. Xu graduated in Shanghai Medical University, and was an attending dermatologist in the Institute of Dermatology, Huashan Hospital in Shanghai. Dr. Xu obtained her Ph.D degree in the University of Bristol, England.
