She was born and raised in Gainesville, Florida, go gators! Taylor attended the University of Florida, receiving her Bachelor of Science in Applied Physiology and Kinesiology. She then returned to the University of Florida to earn her Master of Physician Assistant Studies. Upon graduating, she received the Steven M. and Randy E. Kraft Award of Excellence for Physician Assistant Studies and was inducted into the Pi Alpha (PA) national honors society.
In her spare time, Taylor enjoys going to gator football games, running, reading, and spending time with her husband Corey and their golden retriever, Gunner.

Xuan de La Torre, PA-C (pronounced “Swan”) grew up in Tarpon Springs, Florida. She obtained both a Bachelor of Science degree in Food Science and Human Nutrition and a Master of Science degree in Physician Assistant Studies at the University of Florida in Gainesville, FL.
As the youngest of five girls, she grew up with a natural interest in the care of skin, hair and nails. It’s no surprise that she fell in love with the medical and surgical aspects of dermatology during her training as a physician assistant. Xuan is board certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and is a member of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants, Florida Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants and Florida Association of Physician Assistants.
Xuan is a proud first generation Vietnamese American and feels blessed to be able to serve her community as a PA. She enjoys traveling, cooking, skiing, hiking and spending time with her family and friends in her spare time.

Whitney DeLozier, MD is board certified in Dermatology and Mohs Micrographic Dermatologic Surgery. She was raised in St. Petersburg and is a proud alumnus of the University of Florida. She received her medical degree from the University of South Florida College of Medicine in 2009.
Dr. DeLozier completed her Internal Medicine internship at the University of Pittsburgh and her dermatology residency at the University of Texas/MD Anderson in Houston where she acted as Chief Resident during her final year. In between, she worked for two years in clinical research at the Center for Clinical Studies in Houston. During that time, she participated in more than 30 clinical studies regarding new treatments for eczema, acne, psoriasis, genital warts, herpes, rosacea, shingles, and post-herpetic neuralgia. Dr. DeLozier has more than 30 dermatology industry publications in peer-reviewed journals and book chapters in addition to presentations at national dermatology meetings.
Dr. DeLozier enjoys seeing patients of all ages. Her practice focuses on medical dermatology and cutaneous surgery. In her free time, Dr. DeLozier enjoys running, skiing, traveling, and camping with her husband and three children and watching Gator football.

Josef Doenges, MD, was born in Texas and raised with a strong appreciation for learning, fitness and language, having lived 6 years in Germany. He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in German with a minor in Biomedical Science from the University of Texas at Austin. He then went on to Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center School of Medicine, where he earned his Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) in 1997.
Dr. Doenges completed his Internal Medicine internship at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio before pursuing a dermatology residency at Texas Tech Health Science Center in Lubbock, where he served as Chief Resident during his final year.
Following residency, Dr. Doenges embarked on a distinguished 22-year military career, serving in both the U.S. Navy and U.S. Air Force. As a Navy dermatologist, he was Department Head of Dermatology at U.S. Naval Hospitals in Okinawa, Japan, and Rota, Spain. After 6 years in the Navy, he returned to Texas, practicing Dermatology in the Woodlands, Texas. He then returned to the military, joining the Air Force, to take an assignment in Landstuhl, Germany. In his time in the Air Force, he held multiple leadership positions, including Chief of Medical Staff at the 6th Medical Group, MacDill Air Force Base, where he oversaw care for more than 215,000 beneficiaries. Throughout his military service, he earned multiple commendations, including the Air Force Meritorious Service Medal and the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal.
Dr. Doenges is board-certified in Dermatology and Micrographic Dermatologic Surgery specializing in medical and surgical dermatology, with a particular interest in optimizing lifestyle to achieve better health.
Dr. Doenges is fluent in German and proficient in Spanish. In his free time, he enjoys fitness, traveling, being outdoors, and spending time with his family.

Danie has been a licensed aesthetician for over 4 years specializing in performing various treatments to enhance and beautify the skin. Her passion is to bring customized services to each and every client improving the overall appearance and health of their skin through a variety of techniques and procedures.
In her free time Danie enjoys spending time with her family, catching sunsets, outdoor adventures and crafting. She also loves traveling, concerts and attending sport events.
Julie Esquinaldo PA-C, MPAS, a Lakeland native, is a board certified Physician Assistant. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Physician Assistant Studies from Trevecca Nazarene University in 1997. Mrs. Esquinaldo practiced for over twenty years in various surgical specialties including neurosurgery, cardiac, general, and plastic surgery before specializing in dermatology.
Mrs. Esquinaldo is undeniably passionate about clinical and particularly, surgical dermatology, utilizing advanced surgical techniques and closures for optimal outcomes.
She is committed to continuing education and completed the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistant’s prestigious Diplomate Fellowship program in 2022. In September 2023 she completed her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies through Touro University. She is a member of the AAPA, FSDPA, SDPA, and FAPA.
In her free time, Julie enjoys spending time with her family as well as hiking, jogging, and playing the piano. She is an active member of City Central Church in Lakeland, FL.

Andrea Esse was born and raised in Clearwater, FL where she attended Clearwater High School. She graduated Summa cumlaude with her Bachelor of Science in Biology from The University of Central Florida in 2007. Andrea then matriculated into the Physician Assistant Program at the University of Florida and earned her Master of Physician Assistant Studies in 2011. She has been working in dermatology since 2011 and takes pride in providing exceptional care in a friendly environment with attention to detail. Her focus is in the prevention, detection and treatment of skin cancer.
She is a member of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants and enjoys volunteering in the local community.. Aside from dermatology, her interests include reading, hiking, traveling, and spending time with her family.

Christopher Ewanowski, M.D., is one of only a handful of Board Certified, Fellowship-Trained Dermatologic Surgeons in the Bay Area specializing in Mohs Micrographic Surgery, laser surgery, and reconstructive and cosmetic dermatologic surgery.
He is a native of Tampa, attended Jesuit High School, and was an undergraduate at The University of South Florida.
After receiving his M.D. from the University of South Florida College of Medicine in 2003, he completed a plastic and general surgical internship at the University of California San Francisco. As a dermatology resident at Georgetown University Hospital, he began to emphasize the advanced surgical management of skin disorders including skin cancer surgery, laser surgery, and reconstructive surgery. After completing his training at Georgetown in 2007, he was one of approximately 65 dermatologists in the world to begin a Dermatologic Surgery fellowship emphasizing skin oncology and Mohs, laser, and reconstructive surgery. This fellowship, approved by the American College of Mohs Micrographic Surgery, was completed in 2008, under the tutelage of Pearon Lang M.D. and Joel Cook M.D., two of the most talented and well-recognized Mohs surgeon in the United States.
With this wealth of experience, he returned home and opened Suncoast Skin Solutions, with both a Tampa and a Clearwater location, in July of 2008.

Hannah Fowler, PA-C is a board-certified physician assistant and current SDPA Diplomate Fellow.
She was born and raised in North Carolina where she attended The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, receiving a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. After graduating, she joined her fiancé, Chase, in his hometown of Tampa and obtained a Master of Science in Medical Sciences at the University of South Florida. She went on to receive her Master of Science degree in Physician Assistant Studies at the University of Florida in Gainesville, FL.
Hannah is board certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and is a member of the Florida Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants and the American Academy of Physician Assistants.
She spends most of her free time with her family & friends, traveling to the mountains or coast of NC, and cheering on the Bolts and the Heels! Outside of clinic, you might find her walking Bayshore (lathered in sunscreen of course) or with one of her three siblings who she adores.

Alexis Franco, PA-C is a board-certified Physician Assistant, and was born and raised in Largo, FL. She received her Bachelor of Science from Wake Forest University where she played for the women’s tennis team on a full-ride athletic scholarship. After graduation, she worked as a medical assistant for a year at Suncoast Skin Solutions. She then went on to attend the Physician Assistant program at Lincoln Memorial University – Knoxville.
In her spare time, she enjoys staying active by going on long walks and playing tennis and pickleball. She also loves to spend time with her family and friends while exploring the Tampa Bay dining scene!

Beatrix Frasure, MSN, APRN-C was born and raised in Germany. Her belief in empowering her patients and the ethical practice of Medical Aesthetics is deeply rooted. Trust, truth, patient education, setting realistic goals and outcome expectations are as important
as a warm welcoming smile.
Beatrix completed her graduate studies at the University of South Florida and is board certified as an Adult Nurse Practitioner. Her extensive clinical background includes medical/surgical, neurology, orthopedics, wound care, geriatrics, and anti-aging including
bio-identical hormone replacement and female/male sexual dysfunction.
Beatrix is certified by the American Society of Aesthetic & Mesotherapy. She implemented two separate Mesotherapy programs of which she served as clinical Vice-President and has performed Mesotherapy in the United States since shortly after its inception.
Her expertise spans many years of Botox, different types of facial fillers, and laser procedures. Patient facial individualities are always evaluated and considered with an artful eye. Her approach is individualized and conservative coupled with a gentle touch.

Jeremy Freedman, M.D., is a board-certified dermatologist and fellowship-trained Mohs micrographic and reconstructive surgeon. A native of Florida, he attended medical school at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine, where his academic and clinical achievements earned him membership in the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA) national medical honor society. He also received recognition for his exceptionally kind and compassionate patient care by being elected to the distinguished Gold Humanism Honor Society (GHHS).
Dr. Freedman received his specialty residency training in dermatology and cutaneous surgery at the New York University (NYU) Ronald O. Perelman Department of Dermatology, where he had the opportunity to train and work with multiple leaders in the field of dermatology, cosmetic dermatology, and dermatologic surgery.
After completing residency, Dr. Freedman received advanced training in the surgical management of skin cancer through a rigorous American College of Mohs Surgery (ACMS) accredited Mohs, plastics, and reconstructive surgery fellowship at the world-renowned Tel Aviv Medical Center (TLVMC). There, Dr. Freedman performed and assisted in over 1,000 Mohs surgeries and countless other dermatologic surgeries and procedures.
Dr. Freedman specializes in the detection and treatment of skin cancer and in the aesthetic reconstruction of complex surgical wounds, and he is excited to continue providing expert patient care as he joins Suncoast Skin Solutions’ expanding dermatology practice.
Outside of work, Dr. Freedman enjoys spending time with his wife and 4 children and large extended family. If he’s not in the office, you might find him traveling, reading a good book, playing fun board games, or performing amateur voice acting.
Elizabeth Gaffney, PA-C was born in Allentown, Pennsylvania, and moved to The Villages, Florida, with her family during high school. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Cell and Molecular Biology from the University of South Florida. After graduation, she worked as a medical assistant for two years at Suncoast Skin Solutions on the Mohs surgery team. She then returned to her alma mater to attend USF’s Physician Assistant Program.
In her free time, she enjoys taking ballet classes, crocheting, and spending time with her hairless cat, Onya.
She is excited to return to Suncoast as a physician assistant to foster long-term relationships with patients and emphasize education, prevention, and comprehensive dermatologic care.
Katie is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. She graduated from Florida State University with a Bachelor of Science degree. Graduating with honors, she earned her Master of Medical Science degree in Physician Assistant studies at Nova Southeastern University. During her time at NSU, Katie received additional clinical training in the fields of Dermatology and Plastic/Reconstructive surgery.
Katie was born and raised in Fort Lauderdale, FL. She relocated to the Jupiter area in 2013. As a certified and licensed PA, Katie has worked over the years in providing the highest quality of skin cancer care. Here at Suncoast Skin Solutions, she is able to combine her passion of skin care and surgery. Her primary focus is the diagnosis and treatment of skin cancer. Katie is also passionate about cosmetic dermatology, offering Botox and fillers.
She is an active member of the Florida Society of Dermatology PAs (FSDPA) and the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA).

Ivianys “Ivy” Gomez, LME, is a Licensed Medical Esthetician with over 5 years of hands-on experience in the skincare and aesthetics industry. After two years in pre-medical school, Ivy discovered her passion for aesthetics and pursued a 1200-hour esthetics course, laying a strong foundation for her career.
Fluent in both English and Spanish, Ivy is passionate about making her patients feel comfortable, understood, and confident in their care. Dedicated to continuous learning, Ivy has advanced her expertise in both traditional and medical aesthetics, including two years of experience as a professor in esthetics and another two years specializing in medical aesthetics. She is also a certified phlebotomist, further enhancing her clinical skill set and ability to deliver results-driven treatments. Aqeel Haidar, MD, PhD completed his histopathology training at The Hammersmith Hospital in London (Royal Postgraduate Medical School), Leeds General Infirmary, England, and the Mount Sinai Medical Center in Manhattan, New York. He trained with A Bernard Ackerman, MD in New York as his Chief Fellow in Dermatopathology. Dr. Haidar has taught medical students and residents/fellows in Dermatopathology in both England and USA. He is a former Director of Dermatopathology and Clinical Assistant Professor of SUNY Syracuse (Binghamton Campus). He is also a former Director of Dermatopathology of Quest Diagnostics at Horsham, Pennsylvania.
Dr. Jeffrey J. Heller was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and was raised in Phoenix, Arizona. After receiving a B.S. Degree in biology from the University of Arizona, Dr. Heller received his medical degree at the University of Osteopathic Medicine and Health Sciences in Des Moines, Iowa in 1983. He completed his internship at Tripler Army Medical Center in Honolulu, Hawaii, and spent three years overseas as a general medical officer in the US Army. His training as a dermatologist was completed in 1990 at the Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio, Texas. Two years were spent as chief of dermatology at Fort Bragg, North Carolina. Dr. Heller began private practice in Daytona Beach in 1992.
Dr. Heller is a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and a Diplomate of the American Board of Dermatology, with special interest in skin cancer surgery and cosmetic dermatology. He has been in practice for over 30 years and is committed to providing his patients with outstanding dermatology care.
Hannah Henry, MSPAS, PA-C, is a board-certified Physician Assistant and current SDPA diplomate fellow. She was born and raised in the suburbs of Minneapolis, Minnesota. She obtained both a Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Science and a Master of Science degree in Physician Assistant Studies at Florida State University in Tallahassee, FL. Go Noles!
Between undergraduate and PA school, Hannah gained hands-on patient care as an ophthalmic technician specializing in both pediatric and adult ophthalmology. Upon graduating PA school, Hannah was eager to work in the field she has always been passionate about–dermatology.
Hannah is board-certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) and is a member of AAPA, FAPA, and SDPA. She loves traveling, spending time with friends and family, going to the beach, and reading in her spare time.
Hannah is dedicated to providing comprehensive dermatologic care, with a strong focus on skin health management, skin cancer prevention, and patient education. Jennifer Hickman, ARNP-C is a native Floridian, born and raised in Saint Petersburg, Florida. She obtained her Bachelor of Arts in Gerontology from the University of South Florida and an Associates of Arts in Nursing from Hillsborough Community College. Jennifer began her career as a registered nurse at Largo Medical Center. In February 2006 Jennifer joined Suncoast Skin Solutions as Charge Nurse, where she realized her passion for dermatology. While still working at Suncoast Skin Solutions, Jennifer decided to pursue her dream to become an ARNP-C specializing in Dermatology. She was fortunate to be accepted to the South University’s Masters of Nursing program. Jennifer graduated with her Masters of Science in Nursing in June 2016. Jennifer is a current member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. Jennifer is also a trainer for Neurotoxins and fillers with Aestra Institute.
Jennifer loves anything related to water sports such as fishing, boating, and paddle boarding. She is an avid reader, enjoys working out and spending time with her family. She is married and has two beautiful daughters.

Nancy Hindalong, APRN, FNP-C, is an experienced and compassionate Family Nurse Practitioner with a specialized focus in dermatology. With over two decades of healthcare experience, Nancy brings a deep understanding of both general nursing and dermatologic care. Her approach combines clinical expertise with a patient-centered philosophy, allowing her to effectively treat a broad spectrum of skin conditions—from routine skin exams to advanced dermatologic and cosmetic procedures.
Nancy earned her Master of Science in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner from South University in Savannah, Georgia, in 2019. She previously completed her Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing at the State College of Florida in Bradenton in 2014, graduating with honors and maintaining Dean’s List status throughout her studies. Her academic achievements reflect her dedication to excellence and lifelong learning in the medical field.
Before becoming a Family Nurse Practitioner, Nancy worked for over a decade as a Licensed Practical Nurse at Suncoast Dermatology and Skin Surgery Center. This role gave her invaluable hands-on experience in dermatologic care and allowed her to work closely with dermatologists, gaining in-depth knowledge of various treatments and procedures. From 2013 to 2020, she expanded her clinical scope as a Registered Nurse and CVOR Clinical Coordinator at Citrus Memorial Hospital, where she excelled in a fast-paced surgical environment and further refined her clinical and leadership skills.
Nancy is proficient in a wide range of dermatologic treatments, including chronic skin condition management, minor surgical procedures, and cosmetic dermatology. She holds certifications in ACLS and NIH Stroke, has suturing experience, and is recognized as a computer super user. Her skills also extend to cosmetic procedures such as Botox, dermal fillers, and laser treatments, through which she helps patients achieve natural, rejuvenated results tailored to their individual aesthetic goals.
A firm believer in patient education, Nancy is dedicated to helping individuals understand their skin health and the preventative steps they can take to maintain it. She is known for taking the time to thoroughly explain treatment options, fostering trust and ensuring her patients feel comfortable and informed throughout their care.

Monica Horinko, PA-C, was born and raised in Northern Virginia and completed her undergraduate studies at Virginia Tech, where she studied Human Nutrition, Foods and Exercise with a minor in Spanish. Prior to pursuing a career as a Physician Assistant, she worked as a Medical Assistant in dermatology for over two years, where she discovered her passion for the specialty.
Monica earned her Master of Health Science degree from the Drexel University Physician Assistant Program in Philadelphia. She began her career in cosmetic dermatology, where she developed a strong foundation in aesthetic treatments and patient care. Monica is excited to return to general dermatology, where she can continue to provide high-quality care and help patients maintain their confidence and health through both medical and cosmetic dermatology. In addition, Monica is a proud SDPA Member and Diplomat Fellow, further demonstrating her commitment to advancing her expertise in the field.
Outside of work, Monica enjoys staying active through exercise, relaxing at the beach, and spending quality time with friends and family.
Taylor Hughes, APRN, grew up in Tallahassee, FL, and earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Florida State University. She then began working as a medical assistant for a Mohs surgeon, where she quickly found her passion for surgical and general dermatology, leading her to pursue a nursing career. She earned her Bachelor of Nursing degree from Jacksonville University and worked as a registered nurse at UF Health and Mayo Clinic. Taylor later completed her Master of Science in Nursing at the University of West Florida.
In her free time, she enjoys relaxing at the beach, going for long walks, and spending time with her husband and two dogs, Milo and Luca.
