Shahab Nouri, PA-C
Shahab Nouri, PA-C, was born in Washington state, but raised in Tampa and has always had a strong passion for science, medicine, and patient care. He attended University of South Florida, where he earned both a Bachelor’s degree in Health Sciences and a Master’s degree in Pharmaceutical Nanotechnology. His academic background provided a strong foundation in research, innovation, and the advancement of medical therapies, further strengthening his commitment to improving patient outcomes through evidence-based care.
He later completed his Physician Assistant studies at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science in Chicago, where he developed particular interests in dermatology, rheumatology, and infectious disease. During his training, he became especially drawn to dermatology because of its unique ability to combine clinical medicine, procedural skills, pathology, and long-term patient relationships. For him, dermatology is deeply personal and extends far beyond skin care. Many of the dermatologic and immune conditions he now treats have directly affected members of his own family and close friends, giving him firsthand insight into how profoundly skin disease can impact a person’s confidence, emotional well-being, and quality of life. Those experiences shaped the way he approaches patient care — with empathy, attentiveness, and a genuine desire to help people feel healthy, confident, and comfortable in their own skin. He believes one of the most rewarding parts of dermatology is the ability to not only diagnose and treat disease, but also to build lasting relationships with patients while helping them regain confidence and improve their everyday lives.
Outside of medicine, he enjoys traveling and experiencing new places and cultures. He also enjoys weightlifting and has a strong passion for cars. Above all, his favorite role is being the “best uncle in the world” — a title proudly given to him by his niece and nephew, and one he considers his greatest accomplishment in life.
