Shana Schroeder DO
Dr. Schroeder was born and raised in Maryland. She pursued her undergraduate studies at Loyola College in Baltimore where she graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in biology with minors in chemistry and economics. She then went on to earn a Masters in Medical Science from Drexel University in Philadelphia. In 2006 she moved to Florida and obtained her doctorate degree from Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine. After finishing medical school in 2010, Dr. Schroeder completed residencies in both Internal Medicine and in Dermatology through the Palm Beach Consortium for Graduate Medical Education in West Palm Beach.
She served as Chief Resident during each of these residencies. She continued to practice in South Florida until until joining the practice in 2020. Dr. Schroeder is dual board certified in Internal Medicine and Dermatology. She is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and the American Osteopathic College of Dermatology, as well as, a member of the American Osteopathic Association.
Dr. Schroeder enjoys practicing general, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology. She sees patients of all ages and treats a diverse spectrum of skin diseases including skin cancer, psoriasis, rosacea, hyperhidrosis, eczema, and acne. Dr. Schroeder makes it her priority to go the extra mile in the care of her patients. She strives to listen and understand the needs of each patient, educate them on disease processes and procedures, and then come up with a treatment plan together.
