Mary Anderson, M.D.D, FAAD

Mary Elizabeth Anderson M.D., FAAD, is a board-certified dermatologist in Jacksonville Beach, Florida. A high school valedictorian and Georgetown University graduate, she earned her medical degree from Columbia University’s College of Physicians & Surgeons and completed her dermatology residency at UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, Texas, consistently ranked among the top 10 dermatology programs in the nation.

Dr. Anderson has presented her research at international dermatology conferences and has been published in leading journals, including Dermatologic Surgery and the Journal of Investigative Dermatology (JID). She practices comprehensive medical and surgical dermatology with a focus on skin cancer prevention and inflammatory skin disease.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Anderson enjoys spending time with her family, and friends, walking her Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, hiking, exploring national parks, traveling, studying foreign languages, reading, and crafts such as knitting and needlepoint.
