Ellen Toneff, MPAS, PA-C

Ellen Toneff, PA-C was born and raised in the Tampa Bay area and brings her lifelong love of science, teaching, and community to her work in dermatology. She is the Lead Provider Trainer and Clinical Curriculum Liaison for Suncoast Skin Solutions, where she designs and oversees the clinical training pathway for all incoming PAs and APRNs. Ellen also holds the prestigious title of Diplomate Fellow after completing an intensive two-year Dermatology Fellowship Program through the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants.

Ellen earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Florida, graduating summa cum laude. She went on to complete her master’s degree at the UF School of Physician Assistant Studies, where she maintained a 4.0 GPA, was inducted into Pi Alpha, the national PA honors society, and was awarded both Outstanding Academic Student and The Award of Academic and Clinical Excellence in Physician Assistant Studies. She is an active member of the Florida Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants (FSDPA) and the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants (SDPA).

In her practice, Ellen is known for her blend of compassion, precision, and patient-centered education. She believes in creating a partnership with each patient: balancing medical dermatology & surgical expertise to form what she considers “the art of Dermatology.” She has a particular passion for complex and chronic dermatologic conditions and is committed to helping patients feel informed, supported, and confident in their skin.

Outside of clinic, Ellen stays active playing pickleball, rock climbing, and cheering on the Gators. At home, she enjoys downtime with her two cats, Tater Tot and Stella Luna.
