Ellen Toneff, PA-C was born and raised in the Tampa Bay area. She has a passion for educating both her patients and her peers in Dermatology. She is the Lead Provider Trainer and Clinical Curriculum Coordinator for new PAs and APRNs joining Suncoast. Ellen holds the prestigious title of Diplomate Fellow after completing an additional 2-year Dermatology Fellowship Program through the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants.

She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of Florida where she graduated summa cum laude. She again attended the University of Florida at their School of Physician Assistant Studies. There, Ellen graduated with a 4.0 GPA, was inducted into the Pi Alpha (PA) national honors society and was awarded with “Outstanding Academic Student” as well as “The Award of Academic and Clinical Excellence in Physician Assistant Studies.” She is a proud member of the Florida Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants (FSDPA) and the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants (SDPA).

Ellen is passionate about creating a strong bond between herself and her patients. She feels that there is a perfect balance between patient education, surgical procedures, and cosmetics treatments to create the beautiful art of medicine that is Dermatology. Ellen has a passion for complex, chronic dermatology disease states and bringing patients to a place where they feel comfortable in their own skin... no pun intended!

Ellen loves rock climbing, wood working, and riding her bike with her husband down the Pinellas Trail. But you can also find her hanging out with her two huge Maine Coon cats (Beans and Sweet Potato) while watching movies and rooting on the Gators!
