Julie Hinojosa completed her undergraduate studies in Food Science and Human Nutrition from the University of Florida and continued on to graduate from the University of Florida Physician Assistant Program in 2012. While pursuing her undergraduate degree, Julie worked as a medical assistant in a dermatology office in Gainesville. This was where she discovered her love for dermatology.

Julie joined Suncoast Skin Solutions to work as a Physician Assistant in 2013. Julie is Director-At-Large for the Florida Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants and an active member of the Dermatology Physician Assistant Journal Club of Tampa Bay and the Florida Academy of Physician Assistants. Her areas of specialty are skin cancer, psoriasis, acne, rosacea, and eczema.  Julie is of Colombian and Ecuadorian decent and speaks fluent Spanish.  She serves our Hispanic community with care and passion. She was born, raised and still lives in Clearwater where she enjoys spending time with her husband and family! Go Gators!
